Disagree. We learn about the cloak in Deathly Hallows it's that cloak of the deathly hallows.. There is no shimmer.

Somewhat spoiler, but you've seen the movies Doug so it's fine. Harry is drawn to other Horcrux's so it's not shocking that he is drawn to the diary.
